Fitness Class: Solidcore Conditioning

Join Nick and get moving with this 45 min fitness class of high-intensity and low-impact work!

Nick Silverio trained at Elite Academy of Dance in Shrewsbury, MA, and graduated the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Commercial Dance Management. Television: "So You Think You Can Dance," "Saturday Night Live," "America's Got Talent." Theater: Billy Elliot the Musical, La Cage Aux Folles, Elf the Musical (3rd & 4th national tour, Madison Square Garden). As a choreographer, Nick created the viral video "First Burn" on YouTube and loves teaching guest classes across the country!

Self-Confidence via Samba y Salsa

Dani Albertina hails from Collinsville, IL where she began performing at the ripe age of 3. She holds degrees from Southeast Missouri State University as a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. She has worked in NYC dancing for a variety of music videos, commercial industrials and live theater shows. Dani has traveled globally to teach and judge for companies such as StarQuest and Universal Dance Association. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where she is teaching movement to the next generation of artists.

Hip Hop Foundation & History

Joey Hernandez received his B.A. in Dance and Health & Society from Beloit College and is currently pursuing his M.F.A at Mills College.  Joey has studied under the direction of Chris Johnson, Robert Lewis, (Xtreme Dance Force, America’s Best Dance Crew), Cedric Gardner (So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up 3-D), and many others during his career.

Before moving to the Bay Area Joey was adjunct dance faculty at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin Madison, and Carthage College. Joey was also Associate Lecturer of Hip Hop at University Wisconsin Milwaukee and University of Wisconsin Madison. Prior to his collegiate teaching positions, he was on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex Chicago. Performance credits include: Carnival Los Angeles & Chicago, and Legends in Concert (Las Vegas NV).  Joey’s choreography credits include Chicago’s Choreographers Carnival, The Wisconsin Sports Awards, and the Milwaukee School of the Arts.

Musical Theatre: Storytelling Through Movement

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Georgina Moore received her professional training from Canada’s School of Alberta Ballet and continued at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC Campus). Upon graduation, she was cast in the Broadway National Tour of 42ND STREET the musical where she performed in over 120 cities across Canada and the United States. Other performance credits include: CRAZY FOR YOU (Signature Theatre, Washington D.C.), AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (Westchester Broadway Theatre), MY FAIR LADY (New Bedford Festival Theatre). Her passion for teaching has earned her a position on faculty at AMDA’s High School Summer Conservatory (Dance Faculty) and her choreography can be seen as performed by her students across Canada. 

Ballet Essentials

Mindy Ann Kendi was a full scholarship recipient to the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts as a Junior in high school as a dance major, and she also trained with the Briansky Saratoga Ballet.  Mindy also got to work as a feature dancer with Mandy Moore on the film “The Silverlinings Playbook,” and she worked with the NFL and Nike as fashion representative for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Full Body Burn Out

Jazzae Ford grew up dancing competitively in Grand Rapids, Michigan and trained in all styles of dance including jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and ballet. Jazzae was accepted into the Western Michigan University Dance Program and had the pleasure of training under industry leading instructors. Jazzae spent 2 years dancing for the Grand Rapids Drive NBA G-League Dance team. Her highlights include performing at Party in the Park Concert featuring Flo-Rida and Tech 9 as well as choreographing for a special event honoring actress and lead-speaker, Diahann Carroll. Jazzae currently is a respected and award-winning dance teacher and choreographer, as well as a studio owner in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also a former assistant coach to the two-time national champion, Davenport University Dance Team. Jazzae’s current focus is to train dancers to stay growing, learning and passionate in the fast pace and innovative world of dance.

Jazzerina

Lindsay Via hails from Raleigh, NC, but currently resides in Atlanta, GA where she is a full-time dancer & dance teacher of the award winning competitive team, Triple 7 Dance Company. Having over 23 years of dance experience behind her, Lindsay received her training from CC& Co Dance Complex and Pierrette Sadler Dancers.  Lindsay also trained in the dance and theater department of East Carolina University, where she received a BFA in Dance Performance and studied Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Choreography and Modern extensively. Her professional credits include being dancer in the Atlanta Falcons Halftime show with Georgia Lottery, and “Dirty Grandpa” starring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro. 

LA Style Jazz

Janell Burgess is an American Legion Award Winner for her advocacy and commitment to art education. She has been a professional choreographer and performing artist for over 20 years. Teaching, choreographing, and performing around the world, Janell has worked with top artists including KC & The Sunshine Band, The Jackson Family, Paul Oakenfold, Gene Simmons & Holly Madison. Her Film & Television Credits include: The Disney Channel, The Travel Channel, "The View", and West Africa's longest running dance reality show, "Maltina Dance All". Janell is a certified Zena Rommett Floor Barre Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor, Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, and is an adjudicator for multiple competitive dance events. She has also served on faculty at Jimmie DeFore Dance Center, Debbie Reynolds Dance Center, has lectured at UCLA, Orange Coast College, and currently serves on faculty at the ABT Gillespie School. Ms. Burgess's mission is to help develop artists and projects that will inspire healing, bridge cultures, create unity, and ignite a passion for life!

Barre Fitness

Jayme Wappel trained at CC & Company Dance Complex in Raleigh, NC and graduated from Point Park University with a B.A. in Dance. Favorite Credits: Finding Neverland (1st National Tour, Swing/DC); West Side Story (Paper Mill); Guys & Dolls (Goodspeed); Mary Poppins, Starlight Express (Tuacahn Amphitheater); Yo, Vikings! (Pittsburgh Playhouse); Royal Caribbean (aerialist).

 

In addition to performing, Jayme enjoys teaching for dance studios and theatre programs across the nation, coaching high school seniors for college auditions, judging for dance competitions, and choreographing for dance teams, dance studios, and theatrical productions. Jayme is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and the new owner and director of Monroe Dance Academy in Monroe, CT.
