2009 Rules and Regulations

  • Teacher check-in for Juniors begins at 7:15 AM and Seniors at 12:00 PM. Those participating all-day and Seniors wishing to check in early may do so at the 7:15 AM registration. Your teacher packet includes assorted dance related material, Certificate of Achievement, plus ID bracelets for each session.
  • The ID bracelets that you receive for each registered student must be worn the entire day. No one will be permitted into class without the proper ID bracelet for which they were registered. If a bracelet is lost, you must pay the full fee to receive another bracelet. Teacher ID bracelets must also be worn the entire day.
  • Teachers may participate in the Senior level or as an Observer. One Free Teacher Pass will be offered for every 10+ students to observe or participate. Teachers are ineligible for scholarships.

  • Paid Observers are allowed only with paid attendees. No children are permitted to observe. Observers may attend both Junior and Senior sessions.
  • JUNIORS are age 7-12 and SENIORS are age 13 & up. Junior and Senior students will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Teachers may use their discretion if they feel they have a student under 13 years of age who can handle the Senior session, or vice versa. An all day pass is also available for those who wish to attend the Junior and Senior sessions, at the teacher’s discretion.
  • There will be a special audition class for Juniors and Seniors in each city, with various scholarships awarded to those selected. Junior students registered in the Senior session must audition in the Senior audition class. Junior students registered in both sessions may audition in either the Junior or Senior audition class. Senior students registered in either the Junior sessions or both sessions may only audition in the Senior audition class.
  • Age 12 & Under Audition Finalists receive ConQuest Dance Intensive Scholarships.
  • Age 13-15 Audition Finalists receive ConQuest Dance Intensive Scholarships or Broadway Dance Center Scholarships.
  • Age 16-20 Audition Finalists receive extended Broadway Dance Center Scholarships.
  • One Age 8-18 Audition Finalist will receive an all-inclusive Destination Broadway scholarship worth up to $2,500.
  • ConQuest Dance Intensive Scholarships entitle you to ONE FREE 2010 SESSION. If you enroll for two sessions, you must pay for the second session.
  • No video cameras are allowed at any time. You may take all the still photos you would like. (No flash, please.)
  • Hip Hop/Street Performance Mash Up dance Intensive: This is a FREE combined class for Juniors & Seniors! You may attend this class for free whether you are registered for the Junior session, Senior session, or Full Day!

ALL REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE CONQUEST DANCE INTENSIVE YOU ARE ATTENDING.
